On Feb. 3, 2023, Maryland state lawmakers introduced a new bill providing a regulatory framework for cultivating, producing, and selling adult-use marijuana.
The types of adult-use marijuana licenses Maryland will be offering are Cultivation Licenses, Processor Licenses, Dispensary Licenses, Incubator Space Licenses, and On-Site Consumption Licenses.
There is an application and licensing fee allocated for each business type. Applications for standard cannabis licenses opens in May 2024.
